About Lauren’s Give Back Programs
Since 2012, Lauren has combined her passion for real estate with her love of Riverside Park and its very special tennis courts by donating 10% of commissions she's earned through referrals from the RCTA community back to the Riverside Clay Tennis Association ("RCTA") or the Green Outlook public restrooms project.
In April 2015, Lauren expanded her program to include Tennis Saves, an organization started by her tennis pro and friend to raise funds for the good works of the Dana-Farber Gastrointestinal Esophageal (GE) Cancer Department.
Giving Back to the RCTA
As a long-standing member of the RCTA, Lauren has enjoyed countless hours playing on the fabulous red clay courts located at 96th Street and the Hudson River, as well as relaxing on the neighboring grounds of Riverside Park. One of only a handful of red-clay facilities in the region, these courts and surrounding gardens are amazingly well-maintained, thanks to the efforts of the RCTA and its many volunteers. But having enough funds to keep them beautiful is always a struggle – less than 15% of the RCTA's budget comes from the city. Lauren strongly believes in the group's mission – upkeep of public courts used by thousands of New Yorkers, free and low-cost tennis programs for kids and adults, lovely lawns and flowers for public enjoyment, and free summer concerts for the community. And, as the anticipated site of the City’s first off-grid, solar-powered, and green-roofed public restrooms, this part of Riverside Park will be a shining example of environmentally-responsible development.
In 2012, she began sponsoring the RCTA summer concert series. At the same time, she initiated her Give Back Program. She is proudly continuing these efforts in again this year.

Giving Back to the Dana-Farber GE Cancer Department
In 2015, Lauren expanded her Give Back program in association with Tennis Saves, an organization founded by her tennis coach and friend Jason Speirs, whose father passed away from gastrointestinal esophageal cancer in 2009. Each year, Tennis Saves organizes a tennis- themed GE cancer awareness and fundraising event to benefit the treatment and research activities of the Dana-Farber GE Cancer Department. Lauren is helping to advance this worthy cause by donating 10% of her earned commissions generated via referrals from this annual event back to the Dana-Farber GE Cancer Department.
